Health disclaimer
Dietary supplements are not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Information on this page is for general education and does not replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified health professional.
Not a substitute for medical care
The content on mancodecanada.com is general educational information. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan, and reading it does not create any practitioner-patient relationship.
Symptoms discussed on this site overlap between harmless age-related changes and conditions that need prompt attention. That overlap is precisely why self-diagnosis fails and why an assessment matters. Only a qualified professional who can examine you and order tests is in a position to say what is actually going on.
Talk to your doctor before starting any supplement if you take prescription medication, have a diagnosed condition, or are scheduled for surgery.
Symptoms that need medical attention now
These are not supplement questions. Contact a doctor or urgent care service promptly if you have:
- Blood in the urine or semen
- Inability to urinate
- Fever alongside pelvic, groin or lower back pain
- Sudden, marked change in urinary function
- Unexplained weight loss with urinary symptoms
- New, persistent bone pain
- Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine, or persistent abdominal pain while taking any supplement
In Canada, 811 reaches health advice in most provinces. In the UK, NHS 111. In Australia, healthdirect on 1800 022 222. For emergencies, call your local emergency number.
Regulatory status
Products described on this site are dietary supplements or natural health products, not medicines, and their regulatory status differs by country:
- Canada — natural health products are licensed by Health Canada and carry an NPN or DIN-HM.
- United States — dietary supplements fall under DSHEA and do not require FDA approval before sale.
- Australia — complementary medicines are regulated by the TGA and carry AUST L or AUST R numbers.
- United Kingdom — most are food supplements under FSA oversight, with the MHRA responsible where a product is presented as a medicine.
A product available in one of these markets is not automatically authorised in another. Where a product is ordered from overseas, the assurance a domestic licence represents does not apply to it.
No guarantees of outcome
Individual responses to any supplement vary, and much of the research on the botanicals covered here is preliminary or still developing. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise, a prediction or an assurance of any particular result. Where we describe research, we describe research — not a result you can expect.
Pricing and availability
Any price referenced on this site is a reference point observed at the time of writing, not a fixed or guaranteed price. Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the order page. Your payment provider may convert the amount if that differs from your card’s billing currency. Final pricing and shipping are confirmed at checkout.
Affiliate disclosure
ManCode Canada is an independent information site. Some links on this page go to third-party order pages, and we may earn a commission if you buy something after following one. This never changes what we write, and it does not change the price you pay.
Our editorial policy sets out how these links are marked, why ingredient guides carry none, and how we keep commission from shaping what a guide says.
Third-party sellers
We do not sell, ship, stock or fulfil any product. Orders placed with a third-party seller are entirely between you and that seller, including payment, delivery, returns and customer service. A link from this site is not an endorsement or a warranty.
External links and sources
We link to public health bodies, regulator databases and published literature so that you can check statements yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, which may change after we link to it.
